  • 01/01/2027 - Preparation for the 2027 Revaluation

Preparation for the 2027 Revaluation is currently underway with every property in Watauga County to be visited by an appraiser.  The field reviews are conducted to ensure the data of the property reflects accurately in the county tax records. As a part of this review, all residential and commercial properties will be digitally photographed to ensure that all improvements can be compared consistently and uniformly, as well as to validate property addresses and locations to assist emergency services.
